Many thanks for a lovely stay at Clavie cottage which was our "home away from home" whilst in Scotland. It was such a lovely place to stay and very suitable for a family with three young children. Everything you could need is at hand and we really did appreciate the "little" extras. Many thanks Susan as always for your prompt reply and for your help with our stay. My partner & I have just spent a week at Clavie Cottage and we had a fantastic time. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you could ask for. The bedroom has the most amazing view. The weather was fabulous and we couldn't have asked for a better week away. Our cocker spaniel had the time of her life walking and running on the beach. We will definitely be returning to Clavie Cottage in the future.

Just back from a lovely week in Clavie Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean and just as described in its details, the cottage has been beautifully renovated and strikes just the right balance between old and new. I will really miss waking up to the view of the waves and sound of the sea. Will definately recommend the cottage and stay again, thank you

We spent a wonderful week at Clavie Cottage in September this year returning my elderly Mum to her roots after 15 years without a visit to Scotland. The cottage was perfect with a downstairs room for my Mum to avoid her having to negotiate the stairs and wonderful view from the Master Bedroom. The house has been renovated in an excellent way and everywhere was immaculately clean and tidy with all essentials provided making our stay perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in August with my mum, daughter (3) and step-daughter(9) for 7 nights. The fishing village was really quaint and pretty and to hear the sound of silence was amazing!! It was a handy base for us to explore Lossiemouth, Elgin, Nairn and we fitted in a visit to Cawdor Castle. My husband and I also had a day on the whisky trail which was the highlight of the holiday for him!! The cottage is very clean, spacious and perfect for a family!! Thank you Susan x

We've just come back from a week in Clavie cottage and had a wonderful time. Burghead itself is a quiet friendly wee place, with enough to keep the children occupied(beaches, park, fort etc) and is a great base for exploring the Moray Coast and further afield.
The cottage was perfect, clean, tidy and with everything we needed for the week. The jigsaws kept us occupied on the couple of rainy evenings - we were very proud to finish the dog one (though be warned there are a couple of missing pieces!).
Great value for a family holiday, and would thoroughly recommend the cottage to friends.

We had a lovely week at Clavie Cottage in October. Sunny weather, beautiful views from that master bedroom window, loved the kitchen, excellent facilities.
Good base for exploring, and the chaps at the car hire in Forres were also brilliant. Highly recommended.
